Our mission

Opened in 1976 by Phil Sciortino and his wife, Joan, The Tackle Box is a place where anglers reign supreme and bass legends continue to raise eyebrows. Family owned and operated since its inception, the Sciortino's son and four daughters have all worked at The Tackle Box.

Now the fourth generation Grandson’s carry on the tradition. The store specializes in top quality fishing gear, crabbing supplies, live, fresh & frozen baits and everything else a fisherman needs for a day out on the water—while the Tackle Box Sportfishing boat specializes in trophy striped bass.
